June Edition: The Right to Life and Death Penalty in Malaysia

It is without a doubt that an individual’s right to life is one of the most fundamental and important human rights. Therefore, when matters pertaining to the right of life are applicable, these issues must be upheld with the most meticulous consideration. The right to life should be equally granted to every individual without any form of discrimination of race, gender, religion and etc. Looking at the right to life from an international spectrum, Article 3 of the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Right grants every individual the right to life, liberty and security of person.
